Glued polystyrene lining
More for new work
Expanded polystyrene is the main insulator of synthetic origin. It has an open-pore structure while the extruded polystyrene has a closed-pore structure ensuring better resistance to compression. Both are
waterproof and create a watertight barrier in the walls, preventing humidity in the housing from escaping through it.
Normal exposure: The internal face of the wall may be temporarily damp. This humidity has no effect on the performance of the lining.
Polystyrene lining : This process ensures thermal and acoustic insulation from the inside of all types of raw concrete or masonry walls.
Installation by gluing is a quick and easy application.

Glue and fill the holes
Wedges are placed on the ground, in order to reserve a space of about 1 cm at the foot. Cut the plate, put the dots of glue on the plate or on the wall. Place the plate against the wall, the panel must stop against the ceiling and finally tap it with a two-meter rule for flatness.
LEVEL III - PROFESSIONAL COMPANION Position 2
Pedal to butt against the ceiling, the dubbing plate.
Wooden wedge for wedging arranged on the ground, in order to reserve a space of the order of 1 cm at the foot.
Preferably square 5 x 5 cm to preserve your fingers :)
Ruler Length 2 meters
The rule with bubble level, will not like shocks!
Example of the order of laying the plates
For electric cables. The cable or the sheath must be stretched on the wall by hooking it, the end of the cable rolled up on 20cm. Take the plate, position it, tap the place of the cable with your hands, turn it over the sound marks on the polystyrene, take a cutter or saw, cut the polystyrene in v at the place of the mark.

Example of cutting polystyrene
According to DTU 25-41, when the complexes present before installation
deformation, it is possible to cut the insulation
longitudinally and transversely up to about 5 mm from the
carton (or vapor barrier) approximately every 40 cm.
Case 1: panels not or
slightly bulging.
No tightening required
Case 2: curved panels.
Tightening required
during the setting of the mortar
adhesive.

Precautions to be taken in the lower part.
Caulk in mineral wool (glass wool) or polyurethane foam,
for damp rooms the foot of the lining to prevent air passages.

Polyurethane foam, Expansive polyurethane foam is an effective solution to the thermal and sound bridges of a home.
